Sam Morell is a Chemical Engineering graduate of New York University and founder of S.P. Morell and Company. His work experience includes both technical and marketing positions at Ciba Specialties, Rohm and Haas, BASF, and Air Products and Chemicals. Mr. Morell is a recognized authority on various raw material topics including resins, pigments, wetting agents, defoamers, and dispersants. He has authored numerous articles in a variety of trade publications including Modern Paint and Coatings, The American Ink Maker, Adhesives Age, and PCI Magazine. Mr. Morell has also presented technical papers at international, national, and regional symposiums including The European Coatings Show, The American Coatings Show, The Waterborne Symposium, The Eastern Coatings Show and The Western Coatings Show.
Mr. Morell is available as a consultant to raw material suppliers who wish to develop high quality video and/or in-person presentations of product lines and/or end use applications. He is also available to present a variety of raw material educational topics to producers of coatings, inks, and adhesives as well as industry trade organizations.
