We will also take a close look at the TECHNYL<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> fire resistant product family for powertrain electrification systems, available in the colour orange, which are the materials of choice for high voltage and cabling applications in EVs. All these grades are UL941 V0 certified, featuring excellent colour stability, low mould deposit and a comparative tracking index (CTI) of 600 volts or greater. Another key solution family especially for EVs is TECHNYL<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u2019s high purity compounds, designed for highly sensitive electronics and fuel cell system applications to avoid passivation due to contamination and hence ensure part performance over its lifetime.<\/p>\n<p>We will conclude this e-mobility toolkit presentation with TECHNYL<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u2019s special grades for blow moulding. TECHNYL<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> C550BCR is designed for low-temperature mechanical performance, at -40\u00b0C and even lower, especially targeting type 4 hydrogen tank liners and automotive fuel tanks, thanks to its good chemical and impact resistance. This is the ideal compound for hydrogen storage applications as it can handle the extreme temperatures created by the pressure.
