Silicone polymers are well known for their very low surface energy, high hydrophobicity, and remarkable durability, along with their flexible backbones which can bear a wide range of organic functional groups. They are outstanding candidates for achieving non-staining and easy-to-clean attributes. However, incorporating silicones into paint formulations can sometimes cause adverse effects, such as gloss changes. We will discuss how our functional silicone additives can enhance coating surface performance without sacrificing other desired properties.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This presentation introduces functional silicone additives for different organic coating systems, including acrylic and polyurethane based.
