The use of green hydrogen produced by water electrolysis as fuel in fuel cell systems and to store energy offers an alternative to batteries or supplement these in certain use cases. Flow batteries for large scale energy storage generated by renewable energy sources are durable alternatives to Lithium-Ion-Batteries.
