Pierce<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dave is a New Business Development Director for Dow Coating Materials, focusing on commercialization of new R&amp;D platforms in Industrial Coatings and global marketing for Automotive Refinish. Prior to is current role, Dave led platform technology programs in Industrial Coatings R&amp;D since 2010. For the previous 11 years, he worked in Coatings Process Technology as a Principal Engineer to develop scale-up tools and provide mixing consulting as an internal mixing expert.<\/p>\n<p>Dave has held multiple roles with increasing responsibility since beginning his career in 1984 at the Rohm and Haas Company, now The Dow Chemical Company. He has worked as a process engineer, product manager, and sales specialist across departments including Agricultural Chemicals Process Engineering, Plastics Research and Petroleum Chemicals Research. Dave is an inventor on one U.S. Patent and has co-authored three papers at AIChE conferences. He received an M.B.A. from Temple University and M.S. and B.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-2352 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ulprospector.ul.com\/media\/2015\/04\/John-Argyropoulos-e1429804676243.jpg\" alt=\"John Argyropoulos\" width=\"150\" height=\"200\" \/>John N. Argyropoulos<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>John Argyropoulos is currently an R&amp;D Fellow at The Dow Chemical Company and is developing new products for industrial coatings. He has been a Dow Scientist working on new product development since 2001. John began his industrial career at Union Carbide Corporation (UCC) in 1985, where he developed new solvents, monomers, and surfactants for the coatings industry.<\/p>\n<p>John is a co-inventor on 37 U.S. patents and has co-authored 23 technical publications.
