Husky concludes two successful medical-focused events in China<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Scho\u0308ttli Medical Conference and MedTec tradeshow in Shanghai highlight Husky\u2019s commitment to the medical plastics industry in the Asia-Pacific region

\nBOLTON, Ontario<\/strong> \u2013 Husky Injection Molding Systems successfully wrapped up two major events in China last week with a Scho\u0308ttli Medical Conference, part of the company\u2019s Husky World Tour, and the MedTec China show, both taking place in Shanghai. The Husky World Tour event boasted nearly 50 attendees and featured insightful presentations, engaging discussions, and the opportunity to network with Husky and other experts from across the industry. MedTec China allowed Husky to highlight its precision mold-making capabilities for customers in the medical industry in China. Husky maintains a focus on building new relationships in the medical industry, as well as supporting customers at a local level; regional events ensure Husky stays well-connected with the issues customers face, and provides an opportunity to examine industry trends in-depth.<\/p>\n

The Scho\u0308ttli Medical Conference, an event hosted by Husky via its Scho\u0308ttli brand, provided insight on how Scho\u0308ttli\/Husky solutions can optimize medical manufacturing performance while mitigating risk. Presentations at the World Tour event included information on challenges and opportunities in the medical market and their impact on the plastics industry, as well as system-level solutions for medical applications. Guest speakers included Russell Tew, Business Development Manager at Borealis, who discussed Innovation in plastics materials for medical applications, and Jack Zuo, Sales Manager China, at Hekuma, who presented on How to improve competitiveness through automation.<\/p>\n

MedTec China, organized by UBM, is the premier manufacturing sourcing event for medical device manufacturers in China. Taking place on September 22-24 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, the show provided opportunities for customers to seek out leading global design and manufacturing technology for medical devices and featured a highly-sought out conference track, focused on highlighting new developments in the industry. This year, the exhibition scale increased by 30%, covering the entire upstream industry chain, and featured ten product zones. The show boasts a regular attendance of over 10,000 visitors.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Husky World Tour 2015 is a series of global customer events taking place throughout the year, giving customers more direct access to Husky\u2019s technologies at a local level. This year, Husky has participated in a mix of both traditional trade shows (including Plastindia, NPE, and CMEF) and Husky World Tour events.<\/p>\n
