CHICAGO, Illinois \u2013\u2013 Fortinbr\u00e1s, a specialty chemical company based in Jaguari\u00fana, S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil, officially launched a new logo today. As part of a larger update of its brand identity, the new logo signifies Fortinbr\u00e1s\u2019 evolution following the company\u2019s acquisition in 2015 by Hallstar, a leading global specialty chemical provider to the beauty and personal care and industrial markets.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe launch of Fortinbr\u00e1s\u2019 logo kicks-off a new era for the company,\u201d said John Paro, Chairman, President, and CEO of Hallstar. \u201cWhile the logo retains elements that reflect Fortinbr\u00e1s\u2019 heritage, adding \u2018Now Part of Hallstar\u2019 to it will communicate to the marketplace that we can now better serve our customers and drive innovation through synergy. It\u2019s just one of many exciting developments to come as the companies further integrate in the coming year.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to the Hallstar endorsement, there are several other modifications to the logo: Its blue color now matches that of Hallstar, the stylized diamond \u201cF\u201d mark that appeared next to the brand name has been eliminated and the typeface used for \u201cFortinbr\u00e1s\u201d is now one of Hallstar\u2019s sanctioned typefaces.<\/p>\n

Taken together, these changes will align Fortinbr\u00e1s\u2019 brand more closely with that of its parent company. In 2016, Fortinbr\u00e1s marketing materials will additionally be updated to include the new logo, Hallstar\u2019s design scheme and tagline, LET\u2019S WORK WONDERS\u2122.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe changes to the brand we\u2019re making are more than just cosmetic, they offer a chance to further everyone\u2019s understanding of who Fortinbr\u00e1s is today and where it is heading,\u201d said Paro.<\/p>\n
