Sederma, who creates, makes and sells active ingredients as part of the Croda Group, has just been awarded in China with the PCHi Fountain Award for Outstanding Active Ingredient for CitystemTM<\/sup>, its pollution-defence product.<\/p>\n

\"\"Its superior performance in pollution protection has been recognised as a perfect solution to fulfil Chinese consumer needs in their day-to-day fight against visible and invisible pollution damage to the skin.<\/p>\n

\u201cCitystem has been developed to offer the most adapted response to skin pollution-induced concerns expressed by consumers all over the world. We are delighted to see that our efforts have paid off\u201d said Olga Gracioso, Sederma\u2019s Marketing Director.<\/p>\n

This natural active ingredient provides a new approach to pollution effects on skin, with visible proven results: the complexion looks refreshed and purified, the skin grain is refined for a soft and smooth feel.<\/p>\n

Gracioso added: \u201cThis award is a fantastic recognition of the know-how developed at IRB by Sederma to unlock nature to power cosmetics of the future\u201d.<\/p>\n

Additionally, to further the fight against pollution, CitystemTM<\/sup> is developed from Sederma\u2019s eco-designed HTNTM plant cell culture process. It complies with the Chinese regulation for cosmetic ingredients.<\/p>\n
