The new additive \u2013 DOW CORNING\u2122 HMB-1903 Masterbatch \u2013 solves the design, cost and productivity challenges of post-treatments, and retains the mechanical properties of the resin.<\/p>\n<p><strong>High Performance at Low Loadings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) can be a major issue in auto interiors. NVH generated by stick-slip action in PC\/ABS parts is more noticeable in ultra-quiet electric vehicles, and more intrusive in self-driving cars that will be used for entertainment and relaxation, not just transportation.<\/p>\n<p>The new DOW CORNING\u2122 HMB-1903 Masterbatch delivers high anti-squeak performance at low loadings (typically 4 wt%), and remains stable throughout the useful life of the part.
