In June 2019, NY state passed legislation to limit the presence of 1,4 dioxane to 10 ppm in cosmetic products, and 2 ppm in household cleaning and personal care products that are sold in the state by December 31, 2022.\u00a0 The legislation limits trace concentrations in household cleaning and personal care products above 1 ppm by December 31, 2023.<\/p>\n

California has begun assessing 1,4 Dioxane in HC and PC product(s) through the Safer Consumer Products program; while they are currently in the info gathering process, it is estimated to be completed in ~3 years.<\/p>\n
