Join our webinar to learn how to solve one of the most persistent challenges in water‑based coatings: viscosity loss after tinting dark and high‑strength colors.
Formulating tinted coatings often results in significant viscosity drop, inconsistent application properties, and increased formulation cost. Traditional solutions—such as adding more rheology modifiers to base paints—rarely deliver stable viscosity without impacting color development or overall performance.
In this session, Elementis experts will introduce the next generation of multifunctional rheology additives designed specifically to address post‑tinting viscosity loss. With an advanced hydrophobic backbone polymer, this innovative technology increases efficiency, stabilizes viscosity, and improves sag resistance and leveling, while maintaining excellent color acceptance and regulatory compliance.
You will see real experimental results in satin deep bases and acrylic enamels, demonstrating viscosity reduction improvements from 28 KU to as low as 3 KU, reduced thickener demand, and enhanced film appearance and opacity. Whether you are optimizing existing formulations or developing new water‑based systems, this webinar will help you adopt more efficient and cost‑effective strategies.
Why attend?
In this webinar, you will learn how to:
- Maintain viscosity stability after tinting—reducing loss from 28 KU to as low as 3 KU
- Enhance sag resistance, leveling, and film uniformity with advanced additive technology
- Reduce thickener consumption while keeping performance consistent across tint bases
- Meet eco‑label requirements without compromising application or color quality
We look forward to your participation!
