Vishakha Makode is a Project Leader at Chemical Dynamics LLC with a knack for turning materials science into coatings that work in the real world.
With a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s in Polymer and Coating Technology, she’s spent more than a decade creating solvent-based and
waterborne to powder and coil coating as well as specialty formulations for industries from automotive to aerospace.

She developed a novel method to coat lightweight metal oxides (Fe, Cu, Ni) on ceramic microspheres for EMI shielding and created advanced ceramic based thermal paints, emulsions, and refractory insulation materials. These innovations reflect her focus on pushing the boundaries of coating performance and functionality.

As a Prospector Knowledge Center contributor, Vishakha shares lab-to-field tips, clever workarounds, and technical insights to help formulators overcome real-world challenges. She also offers expert feedback on how product and formulation data can be presented to make the Prospector materials database more intuitive and valuable for professionals searching for quick, actionable information.
