Dr. CC- Carolyn Carta, M.S., Ph.D., is a materials scientist, chemist, and founder of CArtLab Solutions, a Chicago-based fractional R&D firm focused on sustainable materials, product safety, and process innovation. With over 15 years of interdisciplinary experience spanning polymer science, advanced materials characterization, and manufacturing R&D, she helps organizations solve complex technical challenges at the intersection of chemistry, engineering, and real-world application. Dr. CC earned her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering and an M.S. in Chemistry, and has worked with startups and established manufacturers to improve material performance, durability, and environmental impact.
