As regulatory scrutiny of 1,4-dioxane continues to reshape surfactant selection, formulators are increasingly evaluating alternatives that can deliver performance, regulatory confidence, and cost-effectiveness. This webinar explores the renewed interest in alpha olefin sulfonates (AOS) and their growing role in modern home care formulations.
Join Pilot Chemical for a review of the evolving regulatory landscape surrounding 1,4-dioxane in ethoxylated surfactants and how these developments are influencing formulation decisions across laundry, dishwashing, and hard surface cleaning applications. Attendees will gain insight into market trends showing increasing adoption of AOS, particularly in innovative formats such as concentrated liquids and laundry sheets.
The session will also examine the technical performance of AOS, including detergency, foam generation, hard water tolerance, skin mildness, and compatibility with common surfactant systems. Comparative performance and cost-in-use data will be presented to help formulators evaluate where AOS may fit within existing and next-generation formulations. Whether you are reformulating in response to regulatory pressures, exploring sulfate alternatives, or seeking high-performance surfactant platforms for future product innovation, this webinar will provide practical, data-driven insights to support formulation and product development decisions in the home care industry.
